"Currently we have 3 or 4 concerts a year, mainly in the summer months and at Christmas, around Penzance. The concerts predominantly fall on a Tuesday so that we are able to have most of the choir members available to sing."

 

The Christmas concert took place on Tuesday, 12th December 2023 in High Street Methodist Church with special guests Buccas Four.

On Tuesday, 5th September 2023 Mounts Bay Singers held a Harvest Festival concert in Madron Chapel with special guests Buccas Four.

On Tuesday, 4th July 2023 a summer concert as held at Marazion Church, with their guests The Penzance Silver Band.

Mounts Bay Singers held their first concert of the year at Towednack Church on 23rd May.

Last years Christmas concert took place in Madron Chapel on Tuesday 13th December.

The Autumn Concert was held on Tuesday 11th October at 7.30 p.m. in All Saints Church, Marazion.

The Queen's Jubilee Year concert was held on Tuesday 5th July at 7.30 p.m. in the beautiful church of St Pol de Leon, Paul.

Mounts Bay Singers took part in the Five Choirs Festival in St Mary's Church, Penzance on 7th May 2022.

Christmas songs and carols among the Christmas trees was staged at Madron Chapel on Tuesday 14th December 2021 at 7.30 p.m. The next day, 15th, a lunchtime Carolaire concert featuring the combined sound of Penwith, Helston and Truro Voices along with the Mounts Bay Singers was held at Truro Cathedral, featuring a delightful mixture of Cornish Carols alongside some beautiful arrangements of our well-known favourites.

A celebratory concert marking the choir's 20th Anniversary was held at St Thomas Church, Heamoor, Penzance on Tuesday, 5th October 2021 at 7.30 p.m. The special guest was Ben Hoadley who delighted the audience with cello solos and song. We welcomed the choir's founder, Sheila Farmer, and several previous members of the choir into the audience.

Recent events before the break:-

Christmas concerts have taken place in St Just Methodist Chapel, the Miners' Cathedral, in Madron Parish Church and in All Saints Church, Marazion.

The choir has entertained visitors to the Trengwainton Lantern Walk with Christmas carols.

There have been concerts with special guests A Cappella, Penzance's early music choir, Pipers Choir, the Gilbert and Sullivan Singers, the Buccas Four and Pendeen Silver Band.

In 2019 "Song and Dance at the Minack" was a concert with with Liz Nolan Dancers and Twin Harmony.

Mounts Bay Singers holds an Annual Summer Concert and has sung as guests of Penzance Ladies Orpheus Choir
