We are a mixed voice choir based in Penzance.

 

Last year we had a very successful year celebrating our tenth anniversary.

 

We expect  2012 to be just as good with lots more concerts and events and the choir is looking forward to a visit to Brittany in July.

On Thursday 19th January we will helping to celebrate the life of Mildred Angwin, an amazing lady who spent much of her life entertaining others. She died recently at the age of one hundred and three. We will be joining other groups at the Concert of Thanksgiving in St Buryan Church at 7.00.

 

On Saturday, 3rd March  at 7.30p.m. there will a concert in aid of the Penlee Lifeboat New Life Jackets Fund. We will be joining the A Cappella choir to sing in Paul Church.

 

St Piran’s Day is on Tuesday 6th March and there is to be a special concert in St John’s Hall, Penzance at 7.00 p.m. The choir will perform along side a massed choir of 100 children from local schools. The concert will include some old time Cornish favourites such as ‘Way Down to Lamorna’ and should be a good evening.
